Back Market is hiring a Senior Android Engineer to join our Mobile Core team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the foundational components that power our native Android application, focusing on performance, reliability, and developer experience. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative engineering environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain core Android libraries and frameworks used across the app
- Optimize application performance, startup time, and memory usage
- Collaborate with feature teams to understand their needs and improve the mobile platform
- Establish and enforce best practices for Android development
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications with Kotlin
- Deep expertise in Android SDK, architecture components, and performance tooling
- Proven track record of building reusable libraries or SDKs
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
