Support the full cycle of financial reporting by consolidating and analyzing Profit & Loss statements for the US Networks business unit. This role ensures data integrity across actuals, forecasts, and annual plans through rigorous reconciliation and system alignment.
What You'll Do
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities by compiling P&L data and delivering timely, accurate reporting.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual results and forecast, plan, or prior-year periods, providing clear explanations and business context.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to understand performance drivers and support the monthly close process.
- Prepare management reporting packages, including trend analyses, key performance indicators, and executive commentary.
- Develop and refine financial consolidation tools and reporting dashboards to enhance transparency and efficiency.
- Respond to inquiries from leadership and stakeholders with data-driven insights and concise summaries.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting workflows and improve accuracy across financial systems.
- Maintain strong internal controls through documentation, reconciliations, and structured review processes.
- Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and system enhancement initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in financial planning & analysis, finance, or a related analytical function.
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data, spot trends, and deliver actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with financial systems such as SAP and SmartView.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success working across departments to build relationships and deliver financial outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
