Responsibilities
- Engage in ongoing learning and cross-training across multiple organizational workflows.
- Develop expertise in various business operations, procedures, and systems to support diverse teams effectively.
- Work closely with managers to evaluate and manage short-term capacity gaps.
- Respond quickly to evolving team demands by applying learned skills and knowledge.
- Deliver operational assistance to teams experiencing high volumes or time-sensitive initiatives.
- Adapt efficiently when transitioning into temporary roles to meet team-specific needs.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders to understand and complete short-term assignments.

- Keep detailed records of cross-training activities to build a shared knowledge base for the Flex Team.
- Manage time effectively to handle concurrent responsibilities across multiple teams.
- Remain available with flexibility to respond to urgent operational requirements as they arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 2 years of experience in mortgage funding, loan processing, or a similar field
- Solid knowledge of mortgage loan documentation, terminology, and compliance regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver results under tight timelines
- Proficiency with mortgage industry software and digital tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Quick adaptation to new responsibilities, technologies, and work settings
- Proven collaboration skills in fast-moving, dynamic environments
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous
- Prior experience in cross-functional roles or a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn across domains
