We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer based in Israel to play a key role in advancing Torah scholarship through cutting-edge technology. This position operates remotely and reports directly to the Head of the Research Team, offering flexibility while maintaining alignment with international collaboration needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead AI-driven initiatives that support accessible, open-source Torah study
- Collaborate closely with research leadership to guide technical direction
- Attend periodic in-person gatherings in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv
- Maintain availability during US business hours at least twice weekly for team coordination
Requirements
- Current residence in Israel
- Ability to report directly to the Research Team lead
- Flexibility to work evenings aligned with US time zones, minimum two days per week
- Willingness to participate in occasional local meetings in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv
Work Environment
This is a remote-first role with built-in flexibility outside core collaboration times. While most work can be conducted from any location within Israel, the role requires readiness to meet in person when necessary. The structure supports balanced autonomy and team integration.
