Crodu is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to take a key role in our technology structure, supporting the CTO and owning the full lifecycle of AI solutions. You will be instrumental in developing and scaling our global Certification-as-a-Service platform, which automates the lifecycle of professional exams, from concept to reliable production deployment.

What You'll Do

Co-create evaluation frameworks, proctoring solutions, and critical security mechanisms.
Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques.
Implement automatic content generation systems and integrate AI solutions (LLM, OCR) with workflows and automation tools.
Create experiments to validate model performance, real business impact, and optimize costs and latency.
Design, build, and deploy scalable AI services and pipelines.
Participate in regular technical consultations and collaborate closely with the CTO.
Develop a modern, AI-supported development environment, actively experiment, and track the latest technologies (LLM, agents) to improve products and translate research results into production-ready implementations.
Collaborate with Product and Design departments to define AI-driven features.
Deploy models to production using modern MLOps and LLMOps practices and build monitoring and security (guardrails) systems.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 7 years of experience in programming, designing, and implementing scalable web applications and production-grade distributed systems.
Solid programming skills in Python and experience with other backend technologies.
Experience working with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or equivalents.
Practical knowledge of architectures such as Transformers, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), AI agents, and model tool-use mechanisms.
Experience working with LLM APIs and/or open-source base models.
Ability to independently read, evaluate, and implement solutions from scientific papers (ML/AI).
Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of statistics, optimization, and machine learning fundamentals.
Ability to analytically view the end-to-end system (security, stability, scalability).
Availability during 11:00-19:00 CET (or later hours if preferred).
English proficiency enabling free technical and business communication within the team.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of fine-tuning techniques, model alignment, and building real-time inference systems.
Experience working with vector databases and semantic search mechanisms.
Active contributions to open-source projects or having research publications in the AI/ML area.
