Trident BPO is hiring a Senior Accountant with US Accounting Experience (Remote) - PHILIPPINES ONLY

About the Role

Trident is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our remote team. You will be responsible for managing the financial operations for our U.S.-based properties and long-term guest accounts. This hands-on role requires direct experience with revenue tracking, reconciliations, and the month-end close process.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the financial setup of long-term guest agreements, ensuring site fees, deposits, and recurring charges are accurately recorded.
  • Manage monthly utility reconciliations by verifying meter readings against provider invoices and rebilling tenants.
  • Prepare and review monthly invoices for extended-stay guests, capturing all ancillary charges.
  • Reconcile transaction data from Property Management Systems to the General Ledger to ensure accurate revenue recording.
  • Coordinate vendor payments and manage property-level expenses, including utilities, maintenance, and landscaping.
  • Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations for operating accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Act as a liaison between on-site managers and the corporate finance team to resolve cash variances, billing issues, and credit card disputes.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of U.S. accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for reconciliations and reporting.
  • Experience handling billing, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
  • Full-time availability, committed to a 40-hour workweek.
  • Flexible to work in the US timezone.
  • Capable of maintaining a distraction-free work-from-home setup.
  • Laptop or Desktop meeting the minimum specifications: 8GB RAM and an i5 operating system.
  • Reliable and high-speed internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS.

  • QuickBooks experience.
