Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
- Prepare and review journal entries and accruals
- Conduct account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
- Support external and internal audit processes
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Monitor and update chart of accounts as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies
- Implement and improve accounting processes and controls
- Prepare documentation for regulatory filings
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and risks
- Assist in the integration of new business units into financial systems
- Coordinate with global teams on accounting policies
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards
- Support system upgrades and financial reporting tools
- Review intercompany transactions and reconcile accounts
- Track and report on key financial metrics
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain documentation for financial policies and procedures
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for automation in accounting workflows
- Ensure data integrity across financial platforms
