Navvis is looking for a Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting processes and contribute to the financial accuracy of the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance and driving efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analyses
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies
- Assist with audit preparations and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function
- Support ad-hoc financial projects and reporting as needed
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proven experience with month-end close, consolidations, and technical accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with major ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
