Responsibilities
- Developing and executing sales activity to generate meetings and incentive travel opportunities
- Proactively identifying and prospecting new business leads across corporate and agency buyers
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with meeting planners, incentive agencies and event procurement teams
- Managing a pipeline of opportunities and supporting clients through the RFP and bid process
- Representing our destination client through sales calls, presentations, networking events and buyer meetings
- Coordinating and delivering sales missions, industry events, site inspections and familiarisation trips
- Representing our client at key international trade shows such as IMEX and IBTM
- Providing the client with regular reporting, pipeline updates and market insight
- Supporting strategic planning and contributing to new business development
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, partnerships or account management
- A proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities
- Confidence presenting to clients and representing brands in professional settings
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
- A commercial mindset with the ability to manage pipelines and deliver against targets
