MMGY Global is hiring a Senior Account Manager - Business Events

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing sales activity to generate meetings and incentive travel opportunities
  • Proactively identifying and prospecting new business leads across corporate and agency buyers
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with meeting planners, incentive agencies and event procurement teams
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities and supporting clients through the RFP and bid process
  • Representing our destination client through sales calls, presentations, networking events and buyer meetings
  • Coordinating and delivering sales missions, industry events, site inspections and familiarisation trips
  • Representing our client at key international trade shows such as IMEX and IBTM
  • Providing the client with regular reporting, pipeline updates and market insight
  • Supporting strategic planning and contributing to new business development

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, partnerships or account management
  • A proven ability to build relationships and generate new business opportunities
  • Confidence presenting to clients and representing brands in professional settings
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to manage pipelines and deliver against targets
