Cognigy is looking for a Senior Account Executive to expand our presence in the U.S. market, specifically in Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama, and New Mexico. In this strategic sales role, you will act as a trusted advisor, driving new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and managing the full sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategic new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies across your assigned U.S. territory.
- Leverage and co-sell with partner ecosystems, BDRs, and internal teams to maximize coverage and pipeline development.
- Independently manage full sales cycles, from territory planning and prospecting to discovery, solutioning, negotiation, and close.
- Engage senior decision-makers (Director to C-level) with a consultative, value-based approach; build business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor on AI-powered customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Presales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Leadership to drive deal velocity and customer success.
- Represent Cognigy at industry events and customer-facing forums.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and opportunity hygiene within CRM.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a successful track record selling to Fortune 500 companies.
- 3+ years of CCaaS, CAI, or AI/Automation sales experience.
- Experience working in or selling through a partner/channel model; you're comfortable influencing without direct control.
- Proven ability to close $1M+ in annual quota with individual deal sizes in the 6- and 7-figure range.
- Exceptional at managing complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with VP and C-level stakeholders.
- A self-starter who can independently drive deals forward while embracing a team-oriented sales motion.
- Strong business acumen and a consultative mindset; you bring insight and structure to every customer conversation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Nice to Have
- Technical sales experience in CCaaS, CAI, AI/Automation is a plus.
