As a Senior Account Manager in Commercial Lines, you will oversee a dedicated book of business focused on international and large, complex accounts. Working remotely, you will lead a team responsible for end-to-end account management, ensuring seamless service delivery and long-term client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio, balancing client needs with operational efficiency
- Supervise daily operations of the account management team, directing workflow and prioritizing tasks
- Handle policy administration, renewals, billing, claims coordination, and coverage evaluations
- Resolve intricate client issues with precision, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Prepare client submissions, negotiate terms, and present tailored insurance solutions
- Maintain data integrity across agency systems and carrier platforms
- Monitor pending items and follow-ups to guarantee timely resolution
- Communicate proactively with internal teams on workload status and emerging challenges
- Stay current with industry trends, company protocols, and regulatory standards
- Champion best practices to enhance team performance and service quality
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least five years of account management experience or seven years in the insurance sector. A valid insurance license is required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is expected. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A professional designation such as CIC is preferred.
Work Environment
This role operates fully remotely with the expectation of a quiet, dedicated workspace. Employees within 50 miles of a company location may be asked to report onsite occasionally. The position supports flexible scheduling while maintaining accountability and collaboration.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000
