Truelogic Software is looking for a Semi Senior Product Owner to lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team. You will act as the primary point of contact for U.S.-based Product Owners and Solutions Architects, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and drive solutions. This fully remote role offers the chance to work with top American companies while being part of a global network.
What You'll Do
- Lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team in collaboration with the team’s Tech Lead.
- Act as a primary point of contact for U.S.-based Product Owners and Solutions Architects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog, balancing competing priorities to maximize value delivery.
- Oversee the execution of sprints and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate retrospectives to drive learning and adaptation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes within the team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of work experience.
- 3+ years as a product manager or product owner.
- A track record of increasing responsibility in product management.
- Highly effective at leading teams without authority.
- Experience developing and deploying features for a highly considered product or service.
- Know when and how to craft qualitative and quantitative feature tests.
- Clear and concise written communication with proven ability to summarize large, complex, and conflicting data.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, with experience in managing backlogs, writing user stories, and facilitating sprints.
- Proficiency in agile tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the tenacity to pursue complex problems.
Nice to Have
- Experience at a high-growth startup or within insurance or financial services is a plus.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio) is advantageous.
