Barndoor AI is looking for a Security Engineer to build and maintain the security foundation for our AI platform. You will be responsible for protecting our infrastructure, code, and data assets.

What You'll Do

Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure and AI workloads
Develop and automate security monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security code reviews
Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
Respond to and investigate security incidents

What We're Looking For

Proven experience securing cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD security, and container security
Knowledge of modern authentication, authorization, and encryption standards
Ability to write scripts and tools to automate security tasks
Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain security concepts

Work Mode

This is a remote position. Candidates should be based in or near our hub locations: San Francisco, CA; Charleston, South Carolina; or New York, NY.
