Barndoor AI is looking for a Security Engineer to build and maintain the security foundation for our AI platform. You will be responsible for protecting our infrastructure, code, and data assets.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure and AI workloads
- Develop and automate security monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security code reviews
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience securing cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD security, and container security
- Knowledge of modern authentication, authorization, and encryption standards
- Ability to write scripts and tools to automate security tasks
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain security concepts
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates should be based in or near our hub locations: San Francisco, CA; Charleston, South Carolina; or New York, NY.
