About the Role
The Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats across software, infrastructure, and physical systems. This role ensures the integrity and confidentiality of data and supports the safe operation of autonomous mobile robots.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network and system activity for signs of security breaches or anomalies
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Support compliance with industry standards and internal security policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows
- Analyze threat intelligence to proactively address potential risks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats
- Document security procedures and incident response protocols
- Assist in audits and security reviews conducted by internal or external parties
- Manage access controls and identity authentication systems
- Evaluate third-party security practices for vendor risk management
- Develop and deliver security awareness materials for internal teams
- Track and report on security metrics and key performance indicators
- Support secure deployment of robotics software and firmware updates
- Ensure encryption standards are applied consistently across systems
- Troubleshoot security-related issues reported by operations or engineering
- Participate in on-call rotations for incident response
- Work with legal and compliance teams on data protection requirements
- Assess physical security measures related to robotic fleet operations
- Maintain logs and audit trails in accordance with retention policies
- Evaluate security implications of new technologies before integration
- Coordinate with external partners during joint security initiatives
- Contribute to post-incident analysis and remediation planning
- Stay current with regulatory changes affecting data and system security
