About the Role

Employment Hero is looking for an SDR Performance Coach on a fixed-term contract to elevate the performance of our UK-based SDR team. Your mission is to drive excellence across both Inbound and Outbound segments by coaching to best-in-class standards and improving key funnel metrics like MQL-to-SAO conversion, connect rates, and revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, live call shadowing, and structured roleplays.
  • Deliver real-time feedback on messaging, objection handling, and conversion techniques.
  • Track and optimize funnel performance across MQL-to-SAO conversion, call to connect, connect to opportunity, demo sit rates, and revenue growth.
  • Audit SDR calls and CRM hygiene to maintain a consistently high standard of execution and process adherence.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks using data and resolve through coaching or process change.
  • Collaborate with Ops to improve workflows, sequences, and data accuracy.
  • Work closely with SDR Managers to align coaching with performance needs.
  • Standardize SDR workflows against top-tier industry benchmarks and sales practices.
  • Develop SDRs’ proficiency in product knowledge, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Embed best practices in prospecting and lead qualification aligned with our SPICED sales methodology.
  • Foster knowledge retention and continuous development through coaching initiatives.
  • Align strategy with GTM initiatives, product launches, and campaign priorities.
  • Champion a culture of high performance, growth mindset, and measurable impact.
  • Act as a force multiplier by amplifying strategic initiatives across Inbound and Outbound.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success coaching or leading Inbound and Outbound SDR teams, ideally in SaaS or tech scale-ups.
  • Strong understanding of SDR performance metrics and operational levers.
  • Track record improving activity and conversion metrics.
  • Skilled in delivering feedback and coaching across all experience levels.
  • Comfortable operating at both tactical and strategic levels in a fast-moving environment.
  • Data-driven decision maker with a passion for scaling repeatable, high-impact sales motions.
  • Strong alignment to commercial goals and the ability to drive cross-functional outcomes.
  • Able to interpret data to diagnose performance gaps and pull the right levers to positively impact sales performance metrics.
  • Collaborative mindset, working well with cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with sales tools such as Nooks, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Cognism, 6sense, Outreach, and Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Enablement tools such as Spekit and Confluence.
