Role Overview - Architect and Execute Testing Framework: Serve as the quality steward and establish a holistic testing approach for the entire microservice architecture. This involves creating and implementing automation frameworks from inception. - Construct Comprehensive Test Automation: Leverage expertise in Playwright, API, and UI testing to develop, enhance, and sustain dependable, resilient test coverage for microservices, APIs, gateways, and event-driven systems. - Validate AI-Generated Code Integrity: Develop and implement test coverage to authenticate AI-generated functionality and guarantee the quality and reliability of code produced by AI systems. - Cultivate Quality Ecosystem and Protocols: Challenge developers and proactively elevate the team's comprehensive quality culture and testing methodologies. - Continuous Integration/Deployment Pipeline Enhancement: Collaborate with and support developers in constructing, refining, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, utilizing GitHub Actions for automation. - Cloud Deployment Verification: Apply expertise in AWS environments (Fargate, EKS) to validate cloud infrastructure deployments. - Navigate Complexity: Confidently operate with minimal specifications and transform them into effective automation frameworks and testing strategies. - Advanced Performance Evaluation: Utilize performance testing proficiency to ensure system scalability and operational reliability Qualifications - Extensive experience with Playwright, automated API & UI testing - Java or TypeScript test automation expertise - Proven experience testing microservices, APIs, gateways, and asynchronous systems - CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions) - Comprehensive knowledge of AWS environments (Fargate, EKS) and cloud deployment validation - Performance testing experience preferred - Capability to define automation strategy from ground zero Cultural Alignment - Embodies quality ownership beyond standard testing execution - Capable of designing comprehensive testing strategy for microservice ecosystem - Comfortable operating with minimal requirements and defining automation frameworks - Exceptional communicator who challenges developers and enhances team quality culture - Proficient in validating AI-generated functionality through robust test coverage - Supports developers in building, improving, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Organizational Benefits - Remote / Hybrid work flexibility - Comprehensive Private Health Insurance, including dental - Complimentary Parking - Engaging Office Environment – game zone + relaxation area - Enhanced Holiday Allocation – +5 additional days after year 1 and year 5 - Company-sponsored professional development & certifications - Employee referral incentives - Social & team engagement events - Family insurance coverage options - Fully covered Multisport Card
