ZF Friedrichshafen AG is looking for a Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) to execute our supplier management strategy within the India supply base. In this role, you will be responsible for supplier audits, development projects, and ensuring new project readiness.

What You'll Do

Contribute to supplier management strategy by creating and implementing SM strategies in India.
Lead and perform new supplier approval audits and regular supplier process audits as per VDA 6.3.
Manage Supplier PPAP approvals.
Lead and manage supplier development projects.
Lead and manage Supplier Readiness projects, including APQP & PPAP for new projects.

What We're Looking For

A successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering.
6 years of work experience in the automotive industry.
Certified VDA 6.3 Auditor with deep knowledge in core processes like forging, forming, heat treatment, coating, machining, casting, and assembly.
Knowledge of quality norms including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949.
Knowledge in the usage of quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D).
Good technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in problem-solving techniques.
