Ampol is looking for a Scrum Master (Kaitohu Kakari Scrum Master) to build delivery capability across our cross-functional squads in Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will support and coach technology squads by applying agile practices, processes, and tools, working to remove blockers and help teams thrive to deliver business value.
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and drive team ceremonies, reflect and constantly improve.
- Deliver business value through your squads while continuing to grow and support your teams on the agile journey.
- Support our delivery leads to ensure clear alignment of business outcomes and vision.
- Remove blockers and impediments, helping identify and coordinate dependencies across delivery teams.
- Report on squad performance, learn from the data and adapt to drive improvements.
- Contribute to the growth and improvement of our overall scrum/delivery capabilities across Ampol by contributing to communities of practice and sharing your skills across teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
- Experience coaching and leading teams through change and improving delivery performance, including bringing people who are new to agile on the journey.
- Great stakeholder management and ability to connect a wide range of personas to align to a single focus.
- Ability to adapt, experiment and learn based on feedback and performance data.
- Expert problem solver: working to remove blockers faced by your team/s and managing challenging situations within your team.
