Optum is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to act as a servant leader for one or more Agile teams. You will provide leadership, coaching, and drive the adoption of agile practices to ensure the successful delivery of continuous business value. What You'll Do

Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, providing leadership, direction, and coaching.
Establish team-level cadence and drive team-level events in alignment with program-level cadences.
Facilitate management of the Scrum Team’s dependencies between the program team and third parties.
Drive release management for the agile teams and track project execution.
Encourage and facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration.
Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on team-level progress and quality.
Drive adoption of agile practices and the new delivery model across the enterprise.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
Demonstrate thought leadership by engaging with the enterprise through speaking, learning forums, and blogging.

What We're Looking For

Graduation or Master’s Degree Full time and Equivalent experience.
Certification as either CSM, CSPO, CSP, SAFe Agilist, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant (SPC), LeSS practitioner, or AKT (Kanban).
12+ years of IT/business solutions experience using Agile practices to develop software solutions.
6+ years of Scrum Master experience with distributed teams.
5+ years of Agile Coaching experience for multiple agile teams.
4+ years of demonstrated solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.
3+ years of experience with leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Experience implementing agile practices in globally distributed teams and with Agile tools like Rally and Jira.
Progressive experience in business roles where change management is a vital component.
Experience introducing and leading implementations of Agile values, principles, and practices including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP.
Experience implementing DevOps technical practices (e.g., Automated testing, ATDD, FDD, BDD, TDD, CICD).
Proven ability to coach and mentor agile teams, drive agile transformation, and provide guidance during Ideation, MVP, and Capability grooming.
Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and team building skills.
Demonstrated solid project management, quantitative, analytical, and management skills.
