Sanofi/Genzyme Corporation is hiring a Scientific Writer to develop specialized content and support the end-to-end publication process. You’ll join Sanofi Business Operations, an internal resource organization supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions.
What You'll Do
- Create specialized content with limited supervision.
- Support the end-to-end publication and medical education content development process, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise.
- Work in close collaboration with peers to develop best practices and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain an effective relationship with the medical scientific community within the allocated Global Business Unit and product.
- Interact effectively with healthcare professionals on publication content.
- Constantly assist other writers in developing knowledge and sharing expertise.
- Provide publication and medical education materials (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) as per agreed timelines and quality.
- Provide strategic support with individuals and institutions which may serve as resources for publication purposes.
- Develop complex publication and medical education materials.
- Support medical communication and develop subject matter expertise for your assigned therapeutic area.
- Assist the assigned scientific communication team in conducting comprehensive publication-need analysis.
- Implement relevant elements of the publication plan and associated activities identified for the year and region.
- Work with selected vendors within the region to deliver required deliverables as per the defined process.
- Design an overall plan of action based on end-user feedback to improve course content and delivery.
- Work closely with scientific communication teams in regions/areas to identify publication needs and assist in developing assigned deliverables.
- Liaise with Product Managers, MSLs, and the medical department to prepare relevant and customized deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia.
- An advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, a similar discipline, or a medical degree.
- Excellent knowledge of the English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written.
