Company is looking for a temporary Scientific Communications Specialist to join the Medical Affairs team focused on Structural Heart Disease and Transcatheter Heart Valves (THV). In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring scientific literature, translating complex data into clear messages, ensuring content quality, and serving as a key scientific resource.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive searches of peer-reviewed literature, conference proceedings, and clinical trial databases related to cardiac valve disease and THV.
- Maintain and update a digest highlighting high-impact publications, clinical trial results, and emerging trends.
- Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and impactful messages tailored for internal stakeholders and field-based medical teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific messages align with strategy and comply with regulatory standards.
- Lead or support the internal evaluation process for scientific content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for assessing the quality and impact of scientific communications.
- Serve as a scientific resource for internal teams.
- Support the development of scientific training materials and participate in internal education sessions.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in Life Sciences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience in scientific literature review, data interpretation, and scientific writing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- A strong background in cardiovascular biology or related therapeutic areas; experience in structural heart disease is a plus.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or Medical Writing within the MedTech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Familiarity with THV technologies and the clinical landscape of structural heart interventions.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for scientific communication in the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in other European languages.
