About the Role

SSM Health seeks a Scheduler I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm and create scheduled appointments for patient services. You'll play a key part in ensuring efficient patient access to care.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate scheduling and referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
  • Obtain approval for schedule changes or cancellations as appropriate.
  • Assist with maintenance and updating of provider contact information.
  • Ensure all medical appointments, special instructions, and patient information is entered into the electronic medical system.
  • Follow site-specific protocols and maintain up-to-date documentation to ensure compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of equivalent work experience.
