About the Role
This position supports internal users by resolving technology issues, managing service requests, and ensuring reliable access to tools and systems through prompt, accurate troubleshooting and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming service requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, network, and application problems
- Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate teams
- Document all support activities and resolution steps
- Maintain accurate records in the IT service management platform
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employee technology access
- Support virtual meeting tools and collaboration platforms
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues for remote and office users
- Install and configure workstations and peripherals
- Apply security patches and software updates
- Monitor service desk queues for timely response
- Follow incident management protocols for outages
- Provide basic training to users on internal systems
- Assist with mobile device setup and support
- Verify access permissions for internal applications
- Support IT projects related to system upgrades
- Adhere to data privacy and compliance standards
- Participate in after-hours support rotations
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment
- Follow change management procedures for system modifications
