About the Role
This position involves building and managing integration solutions that connect SAP systems with other enterprise applications, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy integration interfaces between SAP and third-party applications
- Develop and support middleware components for data exchange
- Configure SAP PI/PO or CPI systems for message routing and transformation
- Troubleshoot integration issues across development, test, and production environments
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements
- Document integration architectures and technical specifications
- Ensure data consistency and integrity during system transfers
- Support end-to-end testing of integration scenarios
- Monitor interface performance and optimize as needed
- Implement security standards for data transmission
- Maintain version control for integration objects
- Participate in system upgrade and migration projects
- Work with API management tools for service exposure
- Adhere to change management procedures
- Provide production support for critical integration points
- Develop scripts for automated data validation
- Integrate cloud-based services with on-premise SAP systems
- Use SAP Cloud Platform Integration when applicable
- Apply error handling routines for failed messages
- Coordinate with external vendors during integration testing
- Follow best practices for SAP integration design
- Assist in defining integration strategy for new implementations
- Monitor system alerts and resolve interface errors
- Prepare technical documentation for handover and audits
- Stay current with SAP integration technologies
