About the Role
The consultant will assist in configuring and maintaining SAP finance modules, focusing on control mechanisms, data accuracy, and compliance with financial standards.
Responsibilities
- Configure SAP Finance components to meet client requirements
- Support the design and implementation of financial control frameworks
- Ensure data consistency between SAP systems and external reporting tools
- Collaborate with project teams during system integration phases
- Conduct testing for financial control processes in SAP environments
- Document configuration settings and control procedures
- Assist in audit readiness and compliance checks
- Troubleshoot issues related to financial data flows
- Validate master data setup for general ledger and cost centers
- Participate in user training and knowledge transfer sessions
- Monitor system performance for financial reporting accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Review security roles for finance-related transactions
- Assist in migration of legacy financial data to SAP
- Work with clients to clarify business process requirements
- Provide input on process improvements for financial controls
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Finance updates
- Coordinate with functional and technical teams during deployments
- Ensure alignment with accounting standards in system design
- Assist in preparing test scripts and validation reports
- Support change management procedures for finance modules
- Review interface integrations affecting financial data
- Help maintain system documentation for audit purposes
- Participate in project planning and status meetings
- Deliver post-implementation support for finance controls
