About the Role
This role involves leading a team responsible for the application management and support of SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions, ensuring high system availability, rapid issue resolution, and ongoing optimization to meet evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and technical support for SAP Digital Supply Chain systems
- Manage incident resolution, problem management, and root cause analysis activities
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure service delivery targets are met
- Lead change implementation processes within the AMS framework
- Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring and performance tuning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional requirements
- Support integration between SAP and non-SAP components in the supply chain ecosystem
- Manage documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures
- Mentor team members on best practices in SAP support and operations
- Facilitate knowledge transfer across global delivery centers
- Monitor service level agreements and report on key performance indicators
- Coordinate testing for patches, upgrades, and system changes
- Ensure compliance with ITIL and change management standards
- Act as primary point of contact for critical production issues
- Support root cause analysis and preventive action planning
- Work closely with project teams during transition and handover phases
- Evaluate new technologies for potential integration into existing landscapes
- Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture guidelines
- Provide input into capacity planning and resource forecasting
- Support client communication during major incidents or outages
- Ensure data integrity and process consistency across environments
- Drive automation opportunities within support processes
- Manage user access reviews and role maintenance activities
