VITAS Healthcare is looking for a Sales Representative to join our mission-driven organization. In this role, you will educate physicians and healthcare professionals about hospice care, building trusted relationships and championing the Medicare hospice benefit. You will collaborate closely with clinical partners to ensure patients receive appropriate, timely care.
What You'll Do
- Build trusted relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and professionals
- Guide referral sources through understanding prognostication and the hospice value proposition
- Champion the benefits of the Medicare hospice benefit
- Work alongside clinical partners to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time
- Manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years sales experience or experience in healthcare services
- Experience participating in a competitive team environment involving individual accountability and teamwork
- Ability to demonstrate examples of critical thinking and created solutions
- Evidence of achieving sales goals within the market and/or a track record of consistently exceeding corporate goals
- Strong customer service skills, a sense of urgency, and problem-solving skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and successful application of a need satisfaction selling process
- Ability to manage a territory, conduct sales calls, and generate sales by building long-term business partnerships
- Strong interpersonal skills within all levels of an organization
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Other acceptable licenses include RN, LPN/LVN, or Social Work (SW)
- Past military service
- Experience with volunteer organizations
- Hospice experience
