Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within the trucking industry
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with fleet managers and owners
- Deliver product demonstrations aligned with client operational needs
- Negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing initiatives
- Identify customer pain points and recommend appropriate offerings
- Coordinate with technical teams to address client inquiries
- Report weekly on sales progress and pipeline status
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events
- Develop long-term relationships to encourage repeat business
- Collaborate with marketing to refine outreach materials
- Support onboarding of newly acquired clients
- Track inventory and delivery schedules with logistics partners
- Respond promptly to customer service escalations
- Provide feedback to product teams based on client input
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Use CRM software to manage contacts and track performance
- Adapt communication style for diverse client profiles
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
- Assist in creating customized proposals for large accounts
