U-Haul International, Inc. is looking for a Part-Time Remote Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves handling inbound calls to connect U-Haul products and services with customer needs through active listening and excellent service. You will follow a defined sales process, overcome objections, and achieve sales goals, all while working from your home office.
What You'll Do
- Handle inbound calls, actively listen, provide excellent service, and make a lasting impact during potentially stressful customer interactions.
- Follow the sales process, confidently ask for business, and overcome objections to achieve sales goals.
- Work scheduled shifts, including holidays, to provide continuous support for customers year-round.
What We're Looking For
- Available to work between 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM Arizona time on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Commitment to work 20+ hours per week, with at least 8 hours on Saturday and/or Sunday.
- Availability to work on holidays is required, with potential schedule adjustments.
- One year of Customer Service or Sales experience in a retail setting/environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a clear, articulate speaking voice, strong verbal communication, and keen ability to actively listen.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and efficiently navigate various business software applications.
- Completion of a job-related assessment is required for consideration.
- All work duties, including initial education, must be performed from your home address in a private, quiet workspace.
- Child-care and/or dependent arrangements must be made as if working in-person in an office environment; no flexibility for on-call care during work hours.
- A personal home computer meeting specific technical requirements is necessary.
- Must reside in a state where applications are accepted (excludes AK, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, ME, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA, or DC).
- Must not use nicotine products if residing in: AL, AK, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IA, KS, MD, MA, MI, NE, PA, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA.
