About the Role

Solenis is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst to play a central role in empowering our sales organization and leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations. You will analyze sales performance metrics, market trends, and competitive intelligence to directly impact revenue growth and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze sales data using Tableau and financial reports to uncover customer and product trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Mine GovSpend and other databases to assess customer spend, competitor pricing, and distributor market penetration.
  • Maintain an RFP/RFQ content repository, including product cross references, and collaborate with internal teams to support proposal completion.
  • Run Salesforce CRM reports to assist sellers with joint business planning and presentation materials.
  • Use data from market analysis to support fast, informed bid and proposal development.
  • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
  • Use SAP and other platforms to generate inventory reports and conduct open order/backorder analysis to flag potential service risks.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across CRM and reporting systems.
  • Partner with sales leadership to support forecasting, pipeline analysis, and win/loss tracking.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and reporting for cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Tableau, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce (CRM) and SAP (ERP).
  • Strong data mining and reporting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with GovSpend or similar market intelligence platforms.
  • Deep understanding of sales metrics and performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, pipeline modeling, and competitive intelligence.
  • Experience supporting RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Ability to present insights clearly to sales leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
