Klaviyo is hiring a Sales Manager to establish and lead its Commercial Sales presence in Singapore. This newly created role on the landing team offers a unique opportunity to shape team culture, sales motion, and execution from the start. You will be responsible for building, developing, and coaching a team of Account Executives driving new business across inbound, outbound, and partner channels.
What You'll Do
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of Commercial Account Executives.
- Coach reps through regular 1:1s, deal reviews, and skill development sessions.
- Own forecast accuracy and pipeline health, leveraging leading indicators and data-driven insights.
- Drive outbound strategy and execution, including prospecting motions and opportunity generation.
- Set clear weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual new business goals and hold the team accountable.
- Run weekly scorecard and performance reviews to identify gaps and improvement areas.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Sales Enablement, and Customer teams to improve sales effectiveness.
- Support reps in navigating more complex deals involving ROI analysis, security reviews, and legal considerations.
- Build and evolve a scalable coaching and training framework to support long-term team growth.
- Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing Account Executives in a SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable to performance standards.
- Strong command of forecasting, pipeline management, and sales metrics.
- Experience selling into SMB or more complex accounts; enterprise exposure is a plus.
- A clear point of view on running effective 1:1s, team cadences, and outbound motions.
- Confidence operating in ambiguity and comfort in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative leadership style.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to spot trends and translate insights into action.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive—you see problems and move quickly to solve them.
- You’ve experimented with AI in work or personal projects and are excited to dive in and learn fast. You’re hungry to responsibly explore new AI tools and workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience in MarTech, eCommerce, or adjacent SaaS categories.
- Enterprise deal exposure.
- Additional language skills relevant to the APAC region.
