Requirements
- Pre-sales acumen - several years of experience leading technical sales efforts for enterprise software with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets; the perfect candidate will have proven experience selling into Pharma/BioTech manufacturing.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including the ability to build executive-level rapport and develop internal champions.
- Life science industry and manufacturing experience - acronyms like ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS, GxP, eBR, and historians are part of your daily conversations, and you are familiar with regulations and standards such as FDA 21CFR11, ICH guidelines, and GAMP 5.
- Expertly translates complex statistical models and AI algorithms into high-impact business value, demonstrating how predictive insights directly reduce batch deviations and accelerate time-to-market. Proven ability to bridge the gap between data science and the plant floor, building executive confidence in AI-driven ROI while navigating the rigorous validation requirements of Pharma manufacturing.
- Understanding of manufacturing data sources and relevant manufacturing industry data model standards, such as ISA-88, ISA-95, and the Purdue reference model.
- Detailed knowledge of communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, TCP/IP, Proxy, etc.), programming languages, and SQL.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the hunger to succeed; act with an ownership mindset and have urgency, grit, and the willingness to get work done.
- Curious, know how to ask the right questions and listen to understand, with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Willingness to travel on a frequent and regular basis, per business needs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Good understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and principles, as well as cloud platforms (AWS), SaaS, JSON, and Python.
