WEKA is hiring an East regional Sales Engineer to join our rapidly growing sales organization. In this role, you’ll partner with customers to understand their needs and requirements, helping them leverage the performance and value of the WEKA platform for their business and applications.
What You'll Do
- Meet with customers and partners to educate them on the technical aspects of WEKA.
- Assist with evaluations and system configurations.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations and demos.
- Become the advocate for WEKA customers and bring feedback back to R&D and product management.
- Act as a technical adviser to your customers, periodically reviewing their status and informing on possible improvements.
- Become a subject matter expert on WEKA and its ecosystem.
- Contribute to or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Help create and maintain technical documentation like Q&As and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Familiarity with high performance IO workloads.
- Extensive filesystems background, including experience with NFS, SMB, and distributed parallel file systems.
- Strong Linux OS knowledge.
- Data Center networking understanding.
- Experience with performance demonstrations and analysis.
- Experience running workloads in cloud hypervisors such as AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working at a start-up company.
- Scripting abilities.
