Apply is seeking a Sales Engineer - Automation & Weld to design bespoke automation and robotic welding solutions for a family-owned system integrator. In this role, you'll partner with customers and internal teams to design, propose, and support custom industrial automation projects.
What You'll Do
- Partner with customers and internal engineering teams to design bespoke automation and robotic welding solutions.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings and lead design-review sessions.
- Source vendor components, negotiate pricing, and manage delivery timelines.
- Craft competitive, profitable sales proposals based on customer requirements.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support customer installations and project kick-offs.
What We're Looking For
- A 2-year engineering degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of sales application engineering experience in factory automation.
- 1+ year hands-on experience with industrial robots, robotic welding, electric motors/servos, and PLCs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
- Proven track record of building profitable proposals and closing complex projects.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
