Carrier is looking for a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and customer engagement for our airside HVAC solutions in Scotland. This role blends technical engineering expertise with sales and relationship management skills to support consultants, contractors, and distributors throughout the entire sales cycle.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on growing airside product sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mechanical consultants, MEP contractors, developers, OEMs, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct technical presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations.
- Interpret HVAC drawings and project specifications to develop project-specific solutions.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to deliver feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and market intelligence using CRM tools.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences to represent the company.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC sales or engineering, ideally with a focus on airside products.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building mechanical systems, and applicable codes and standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to manage time effectively in a regional role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Full UK Driving license.
