Sales Director - Iberia
Role Overview
Lead the expansion of new customer acquisition in the energy sector across Iberia. As the primary driver of new-logo sales, you will identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and guide prospects through every stage of the sales process. Your expertise will be key in positioning solutions that meet the evolving needs of utilities and energy-focused organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete new-business sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Develop and execute targeted strategies in collaboration with the Regional Director
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders in energy companies
- Generate and qualify a consistent pipeline using consultative, value-driven approaches
- Act as the main point of contact for potential clients across the region
- Work closely with technical and solutions teams to align offerings with customer needs
- Ensure all sales activities follow established methodology and CRM standards
Qualifications
Successful candidates will bring a strong background in selling to energy or utility organizations, with a demonstrated ability to independently manage complex sales cycles. Deep familiarity with Iberia’s energy market landscape is essential.
Required skills include the ability to establish credibility with senior leaders, design strategic outreach initiatives, and consistently convert opportunities into closed deals. Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes is expected.
Experience selling software or technology-based solutions to energy firms is highly valued. A history of effective collaboration with remote or virtual teams will also support success in this role.
