SAP Software Solutions is seeking a Sales Development Representative to support our Business Applications and Technology sales organization. You will be central to the lead generation process, qualifying inbound and outbound leads through phone, web, email, and events to build a strong sales pipeline for SAP Concur. You will report to the Sales Development Manager and collaborate closely with sales executives.
What You'll Do
- Proactively call into accounts by utilizing and maintaining our corporate database.
- Partner with Global Sales Executives to develop a given territory, call on targeted account lists, and build relationships with key decision makers.
- Qualify all inbound and outbound leads.
- Overcome objections and communicate SAP Concur’s value proposition effectively.
- Transfer qualified leads to the appropriate Global Sales Executive for formal sales presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the sales team through clear communication and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all SAP Concur product offerings.
- Stay current on industry trends and competitor product offerings.
- Achieve monthly pipeline goals.
- Actively participate in innovating new techniques and strategies for securing new accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales.
- Ability to process information quickly and effectively to overcome objections.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work aggressively to meet customer and marketing/sales driven deadlines.
- Must be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have high energy.
- Motivation for cold calling, asking probing questions, and gathering information.
- Team player with strong initiative, excellent PC skills, and ability to quickly build extensive product knowledge.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience in phone-based lead generation, inside sales, or business development, preferably in the technology industry.
- Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated success working within a defined sales process.
