About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is looking for a Sales Coordinator to perform general office duties supporting our Sales & Marketing efforts. In this role, you will prepare critical sales-related documents and serve as the main point of contact for clients, communicating with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.

What You'll Do

  • Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
  • Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process, such as proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders.
  • Promote awareness of the Marriott brand image internally and externally.
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages, including brochures and promotional materials.
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales software, including commissions, leads, and third-party data.
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities and services, including hours of operation, rates, room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, and special events.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, communicating with them by phone and email.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect confidential proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No specific license or certification is required.
