About the Role

The Sales Account Executive I will identify new sales opportunities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and close deals within the small business segment. This position requires strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage potential customers through outbound and inbound channels
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges
  • Present product solutions aligned with customer requirements
  • Manage and advance opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Negotiate terms and close new business deals
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and objections
  • Stay current on product features and market trends
  • Participate in sales training and development programs
  • Follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Use sales tools and technology to track performance
  • Adhere to company sales processes and best practices
  • Deliver product demonstrations as needed
  • Build trust through consistent and transparent communication
  • Handle customer concerns with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Track call and email activity metrics
  • Contribute to team meetings and forecasting exercises
  • Support onboarding for new sales team members
