CHS Inc. is looking for a Safety Content Specialist to shape how our Ag Retail, Distribution, and Transportation division learns, communicates, and engages with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs. You’ll design and deliver dynamic training experiences, strengthen EHS communication, and partner closely with leaders to elevate safety knowledge and culture.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and execution of the division’s learning and education strategy for EHS programs.
- Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality EHS training using diverse instructional methods, technologies, and media.
- Collaborate proactively with the EHS team to align training, communications, and messaging.
- Strengthen EHS communication by clarifying key messages and improving accessibility.
- Track, report, and communicate training completion and compliance status for all employees.
- Manage the development and continuous improvement of new hire orientation, annual refreshers, and role-specific training.
- Assess department-wide EHS competencies and provide recommendations to enhance knowledge and performance.
- Evaluate and oversee third‑party training programs for alignment with standards and regulations.
- Select, coordinate, and maintain vendor relationships for external training delivery.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on training performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Champion a strong safety culture by modeling safe behaviors and addressing workplace hazards.
- Travel up to 25% of the time to support training and engagement across the division.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Occupational Health, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field.

Work Mode
This is a hybrid position based in Sioux Falls, SD, Bismarck, ND, Inver Grove Heights, MN, or other CHS office locations.
