Standard Chartered is seeking an RSM, Branch to support the Branch Operation & Service Manager and Relationship Manager in managing Priority Banking operations. You will be instrumental in driving business performance, maintaining operational control, and identifying revenue opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Branch Operation & Service Manager in achieving or exceeding business targets.
- Administer daily operations for Priority Banking customers.
- Ensure strict adherence to branch rules, control standards, and operational procedures.
- Support high-quality service delivery and identify sales opportunities to maximize new business.
- Perform Greeter Duty and conduct account opening and service requests with the required license.
- Conduct sales document checking and follow-up.
- Facilitate sales and service processes by maintaining data tracking and system inputs.
- Conduct sales activities through tag-on and cross-selling via customer enquiry screening.
- Collate data for branch reporting, ensuring accurate and timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly returns.
- Review all daily/monthly reports via Report-to-Web, scrutinizing for unusual entries that require investigation.
- Raise Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) when necessary.
- Assist with phone calls, general enquiries, and investigations.
- Bring problems and recommended solutions to the attention of the Branch Operation & Service Manager.
- Comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures.
- Assist in supervising the overall operations of the PP Team.
- Assess the effectiveness of the Group's governance, oversight, and control arrangements.
- Display exemplary conduct aligned with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics and compliance.
- Effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance matters.
What We're Looking For
- A valid Trust business license.
- A Derivatives/structured product license.
- For deposit account opening: Must be a formal bank employee in branch operations with over 6 months of work experience and pass the BSO test with over 80 points.
- For forex business: Must have over 3 months of relevant forex business experience.
- For trust account opening: Must possess a trust business license, be registered with the association, and have completed registration in the bank's license system.
Nice to Have
- An Internal audit and control license.
- A Forex license.
Team & Environment
You will assist the Branch Operation & Service Manager and Relationship Manager, reporting directly to the Branch Operation & Service Manager.
