Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is looking for a Rotational Physiotherapist. In this role, you will grow your clinical experience in a varied, supportive hospital environment delivering assessments and interventions across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings.
What You'll Do
- Deliver physiotherapy assessments and interventions across a variety of clinical areas.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in structured six-month rotations across different clinical areas.
- Participate in weekend and on-call rosters once orientated and competencies are met.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand or be eligible for registration by February 2026.
- Have at least 2 years of experience.
- Have placement or physiotherapy experience in hospital or community settings within a health system comparable to New Zealand's (e.g., Australia, UK, Canada).
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning and the ability to work independently.
- Be a strong team player with excellent communication and a proactive approach to healthcare and learning.
- Be open to rotating between clinical areas.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $77,087 to $107,600 per annum (pro rata), aligned with the Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Collective Agreement.
Work Mode
This role is onsite at Southland Hospital in Invercargill.
