SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Rope Access Supervisor to provide leadership and guidance to site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to high standards. You will work closely with site personnel to plan and execute operations, focusing on improving performance and driving efficiencies.
What You'll Do
- Supervise Rope Access multi-disciplined trade personnel across site activities.
- Liaise with the Site Coordinator throughout the day to review project workload and priorities.
- Scope works during estimation to determine appropriate manning levels and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate and allocate work to personnel to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Mentor, lead, and support both new and existing site employees.
- Ensure daily site worksheets are completed accurately and submitted to relevant departments.
- Liaise with client representatives regarding daily activities and notify them of any works that may impact operations.
- Ensure Rope Access equipment and systems are inspected and maintained in accordance with Client requirements, IRATA ICOP standards, and relevant safety regulations.
- Monitor equipment to ensure ongoing compliance with legislative and IRATA requirements.
What We're Looking For
- IRATA certification.
- Section 26 Training – Appointed Persons.
- Strong computer and systems skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience in estimating work scopes through to project execution.
