SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Condition Monitoring Technician on a permanent full-time basis to support reliability and maintenance teams across various sites in Melbourne, Victoria. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will implement and maintain condition-based monitoring programs to detect early mechanical degradation, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve overall asset performance.
What You'll Do
- Conduct routine condition monitoring tasks including vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, oil sampling and data collection
- Carry out sensor installation, in-situ field balancing and alignment of rotating machinery
- Analyse machine condition data and identify trends and early indications of failure
- Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to maintenance and engineering teams
What We're Looking For
- ISO 18436-2 / Level II Vibration Analysis Training and Certification
- 2+ years of analysis experience
- Hands-on mechanical experience and knowledge with oil/grease sampling
- Strong communication and people skills
- Safe work practices and commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
- Australian working rights

- MHM knowledge
- Thermography training and qualification
