Mercy is looking for a PRN RN-Specialty to join the Cardiology team in Rogers. You will provide professional nursing care to patients in support of our physicians, assisting with treatments and managing clinical paperwork. We bring to life a healing ministry through compassionate care and exceptional service.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice.
- Assist the physician in the treatment of patients.
- Complete related clinical paperwork.
- Integrate the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person into work ethic.
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of the principles and skills needed for nursing, care, examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
- Knowledge of medications and their effects, patient education, principles to develop a self-care program, instruments and common safety practices.
- Current valid state license.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Skill in assisting and performing a variety of medical treatments and procedures.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.
- Basic computer terminal and keyboard skills, or the ability to learn these skills, in order to access information and enter clinical data.
