CareHarmony is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Resource Pool at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will coordinate all nursing care based on established standards and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Perform duties across units including Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, Critical Care, Telemetry, Psychiatric Unit, Inpatient Surgical Center, and Childbirth Center.
- Be able and willing to work in all departments as needed and directed.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into position.
- De-escalation training within 60 days of hire or transfer into position.
- One (1) year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
Nice to Have
- BSN degree.
Team & Environment
This position is part of the Massachusetts Nurses Association Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and reports to a Nurse Manager/Director. Cooley Dickinson is the hospital for nurses to learn, grow and accelerate their career.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $37.81 - $51.57 hourly.
- $5,000 Sign On Bonus payable after first 90 days for qualified external applicants.
