Corewell Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will provide professional nursing care on a 72-bed Progressive Care Unit for critically ill patients requiring cardiac drips, ventilation, and higher-level supportive care. You will utilize the nursing process framework and patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
- Partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in planning plan of care.
- Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education and learning appropriately in health record.
What We're Looking For
- Associates in Nursing
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
Nice to Have
- Bachelors in Nursing (required within 5 years)
- Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
