Corewell Health is hiring an RN OR to join our surgical team. This role utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge. You’ll provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care.
- Incorporate patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
- Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
- Partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in planning plan of care.
- Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education appropriately in health record.
What We're Looking For
- Associates in Nursing
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) license
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
Nice to Have
- 6-12 months of RN experience

Team & Environment
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, and support technicians. The role partners with patient/family and works under the direction of the Nurse Leader. You will report directly to the Nurse Leader.
