AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical unit. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during the night shift. You will join a team dedicated to extending the Healing Ministry of Christ, valuing whole-person health and purpose-minded collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Assess patient needs, plan and deliver individualized care.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments.
- Educate patients and families about health management.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Address the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of diverse patient populations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from an EV Accredited Issuing Body.
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) via RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement.
