University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is hiring a RN- Infusion

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN- Infusion) to deliver direct patient care and coordinate treatment within a collaborative clinical environment. You will play a key role in triaging patients, managing transitions of care, and providing education on complex health conditions.

What You'll Do

• Collect and document patient assessment data.
• Develop and implement a Plan of Care per standard, including medical orders and an interdisciplinary approach.
• Evaluate patient progress toward desired outcomes.
• Provide effective patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Administer medication per standard, including providing drug information to patients and families.
• Act as a resource and support for other team members.
• Deliver care using defined nursing principles and delegate tasks based on UAMS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to a positive work environment conducive to clinical education, serving as a resource for student nurses and staff.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master’s degree in Nursing. Must be a graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.
• A valid Registered Nursing License.
• A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethics and a high sense of accountability.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• One or more years of Oncology Nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification and/or a National Nursing Certification.

Team & Environment

You will work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff to coordinate patient care.
